Hello There!
It's one in the morning and here I am starting this blog.
I couldn't decided on which cookbook to start with, so I had my boyfriend pick for me.
He chose Robert Irvine's Impossible to Easy published by HarperCollins books in 2010.
The book contains 111 recipes.
The book's been written by Robert Irvine, of course, and Brian O'Reilly. I have no clue who he is, but I'm sure he made a great contribute to the book and I can't wait to get started.

I've met Robert Irvine in person once in Carmel, California. It was at one of his live demos. I got four tickets from my father's girlfriend. I took my boyfriend, my cousin, and her boyfriend. The show was wonderful. Our seats were in the back balcony and it was such a surprise when he appeared back there asking for some one who can cook. I was nominated by my boyfriend. I was so nervous, I didn't know what he wanted from me. Well, it turns out I was paired with another audience member and pitted against Robert Irvine and a woman whose husband claimed her to be the worst cook. I was cooking against Robert Irvine.

I've never been so nervous in my life! The man I was teamed up with was very rude. He assumed the leader role instead of simply working as a team. It must have been because I was young and he was a chef at a restaurant. Either way, he didn't listen to my suggestion on cutting the chicken into smaller pieces. We were on a time crunch. All he wanted me to do was pick out vegetables for the dish. I can't remember what I ended up picking out. I do remember my frustration when the chicken he didn't cut up wasn't done cooking by the 10 minute mark. If only he had listened to me to begin with. As you may already figured out, we lost. I mean, it is Robert Irvine. I didn't care about the loss though, I was still hyped on the idea that I competed against Robert Irvine in a cooking competition. At the end of the show, he was selling his cookbook, "Impossible to Easy" and signing them. That's when I bought the book and had him sign the inside. He wrote, "Great Cooking." I still squeal a little bit every time I look at it. Like most attendants, I was able to get a photo with him. I wish I was looking into the camera though. By the way, He really is big in person. A huge mass of muscle and culinary know-how.
In the cookbook, "Impossible to Easy" the first recipe is Retro Caesar Salad. The recipe has three recipes in one; the dressing; the croutons; and the salad. I need to gather the ingredients and get cooking.
Thank you for reading my first post. Hope you all enjoy what's about to come.
